Manufacturers Council Delegation – 28th & 29th July 2015

Recently the Manufacturers Council led a industry delegation on a visit to major NT Regional Mines. Led by Chairman Owen Pike – and including a representative sample of our local industry members from across the Territory – the delegation promoted local capability directly to senior management at ERA in Jabiru, Newmont in the Tanami, MRM at McArthur River and Rio Tinto’s Gove operations.

We were directly supported by the Minister for Business, Peter Styles, and we also partnered with our colleagues from the Industry Capability Network NT and the Minerals Council of Australia.

We were warmly received by the various mine management teams and have definitely strengthened our local industry relationship with them – including through better use of ICNNT and other networks.
