Chairman’s Welcome

Welcome to the website of the Northern Territory Business Council. Our aim is to promote not only the industry associations who maintain a membership of the Council, but also the CEOs, General Managers and Executive Officers whose role it is to represent their members in their relevant sectors.

These sectors are broad ranging and we encourage business owners to join for a range of reasons, whether it be to see their sectional interests promoted, be informed about relevant matters or attend briefings and events aimed at education and networking.

Industry associations are a life blood for business people whose issues need to be understood, who require particular assistance or who need to be updated on relevant issues. The NTBC seeks to promote and support the important role of industry associations. Whilst there are occasions it will lobby as a collective, it encourages industry association representation.  Members come together on a monthly basis to discuss items of concern and potentially act jointly where appropriate.

The development of the NTBC website is an important step in ensuring prospective members, media and Government know who to approach on any given subject.
